Senior Student Affairs Officer Track

February 2 – 5, 2011

The ASCA Senior Student Affairs (SSAO) Track will offer a variety of timely and critical topics for our participants over a four-day schedule. While we will retain the traditional full-day program on the opening Wednesday of the conference, we have added an SSAO-only concurrent on each following day of the conference. This will allow our SSAO’s to continue to build relationships and dialogue with their peers throughout the entire conference, while also allowing time to take advantage of additional program sessions of interest.

What is an SSAO? Senior Student Affairs Officers (SSAOs) are persons with ultimate or substantial responsibility for policy development. Their role goes well beyond only the direct implementation of the student conduct process. We also welcome faculty involved in the preparation of future student conduct administrators. Members who are not the chief student affairs officer by title maybe reviewed by the program committee for participation in the SSAO track.

Check back to this site for additional details as they become available.

·         In addition, you will receive information on a mentoring program designed to provide SSAOs the opportunity to share their experiences (as well as simply developing a new friendship with a colleague!) with professionals aspiring to similar positions.
