Mission:

To engage interested members of ASCA in discussions regarding trends and issues in particular areas affecting our field. Through these discussions new programs and presentations will be developed for the conference and ASCA as a whole.

Vision/Objectives:

  • Board of Director Liaison acts as the direct communication link between the Board and MIC’s through regular communication with the MIC Co-Chairs.
  • MIC Co-Chairs report directly to the Board of Director Liaison. Co-Chairs will compile and complete reports from their specified MIC’s for the Liaison on a quarterly basis.
  • MIC’s are the direct link and communication voice of the ASCA membership in various subject areas.
  • MIC’s will report and present solutions regarding current trends and issues to the Board of Directors at each Annual conference.
  • MIC’s must define their groups goals and purpose. They can be a discussion group or move towards more proactive efforts. Co-chairs will assist in this effort. Options include but are no limited to:
    - Discussion group at annual conference.
    - Develop new programs and present at the Annual conference.
    - Meet during the year via teleconference or in roundtable discussions to program.
