Conference Volunteers
Whether you are a first-time conference attendee or a seasoned conference alumnus, you can help make the first annual conference at our new location, St. Petersburg Beach, Florida, one to remember! There are simply too many ways to get involved with ASCA. One of the best is to volunteer at the annual conference. If you are new to either ASCA or the conference, volunteering is one of the best ways to get connected and learn about our association. If these reasons are not enough, please know that our volunteers are one of the main reasons why the conference is such a positive experience for our membership. Help us to make the 2010 ASCA Annual Conference a success as we begin ‘A New Day’ for ASCA! Volunteer opportunities include:
• Serving as a Session Host to introduce presenters and collect evaluations
• Welcoming and checking in participants at the Registration & Conference Information Area
• Staffing one of our entertainment events or the uber popular Volleyball Tournament
• Welcoming and staffing the ASJA Connections Carnival
• Assisting with the Newcomers Orientation and Conference Mentor Program
Get Connected! Thank you in advance for your willingness to volunteer. – Douglas Bell, University of West Florida and Matt Gregory, University of Southern Indiana; ASCA Conference Volunteer Coordinators
