ANNOUNCING INITIAL ISSUE OF THE ASJA ON-LINE JOURNAL

At the direction of ASJA President, Bill Fischer, the ASJA Publications Board has been working since February on development of an on-line journal for the Association.  Recent months have been spent determining the format for the journal, refining manuscript guidelines, and making plans for the first issue in Fall 2007.

The Journal will feature articles, essays and thought pieces, best practice pieces, and reviews of books, CDs, and software programs related to student conduct issues.  All article submissions are refereed using a blind review system.  The ASJA Publications Board will serve as the initial editorial board for the Journal.

The Publications Board encourages ASJA colleagues to submit manuscripts for the Fall 2007 edition of the Journal.  The submission deadline for the Fall 2007 edition is September 15, 2007.  Manuscript guidelines appear below and are also available on the ASCA website.
