This presentation will discuss how a low-staffed conduct office utilized employee volunteers from across campus to assist in responding to students who did not attend mandatory COVID-19 tests. Planning and training, as well as implementation and reflection on areas for improvement, will all be addressed in the presentation
Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards
University of Toledo
Alex is the Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards at the University of Toledo. Originally from California, Alex has experience in Residence Life at a small arts institution, as well as Student Conduct and Title IX experience at mid to large size public institutions in Ohio. Alex holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography & Media from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) and a Masters of Arts in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. Alex is passionate about creating more accessible and equitable college campuses and providing opportunities for education and restoration in the conduct process.
