In light of the recent student-athlete death at Stanford, it is imperative that conduct work in higher education continually keep student care and support in view. Join the ASCA Region 5 Leadership Team for a discussion on crafting policies and processes to support students managing physical and mental health challenges, personal or family emergencies, and unexpected circumstances. During this lunchtime conversation, Jessica Ledbetter, Assistant Dean of Students at TCU will share some ideas, including tuition refund insurance, involuntary withdrawal, and returning to campus after medical withdrawal. Come to learn and to share ideas from your own institutions.
