Alana Anderson, Ph.D.
Director of Programs in the Office of the Associate Provost for Diversity and Inclusion
Boston University
Alana Anderson is Boston University’s inaugural Director of Programs in the Office of the Associate Provost for Diversity and Inclusion. In her role, Alana works to develop a broad slate of programs that address issues related to gender, race, social class, sexual orientation, nationality, political ideology, disability, and justice among others for faculty, staff, and students. She works collaboratively with key stakeholders across BU and the city to develop creative, expansive programs in accordance with BU’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. She holds a Doctorate in Higher Education from the Lynch School of Education at Boston College, a Masters of Science in Higher Education from Indiana University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Brandeis University. Her research examines how black college women perform their race and gender on social media.
 
Jason Campbell-Foster, Ed.D. 
Senior Associate Dean of Students

Dr. Jason Campbell-Foster serves as the Senior Associate Dean of Students at Boston University. Prior to working at BU, Jason spent 14 years at Northeastern University serving in a variety of leadership roles. He earned his Doctorate of Education from Northeastern University, a Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration from Canisius College and a Bachelor in English from SUNY Fredonia. His doctoral research focused on LGBTQA college students and their participation in online collective action communities. In 2016, Jason had the privilege of serving as a member of the 2016 NASPA National Conference Leadership Team coordinating elements of the conference in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Rich DeCapua is a current EdTech leader and former Higher Ed pro with over 18 years of progressive responsibilities in the field as an administrator and a faculty member working with a wide array of student populations at a number of diverse institutions. OneClass is a platform that curates premium academic content for over 2.6 million students in five different countries. Dr. DeCapua received his BA from Quinnipiac University, his M.Ed. from Springfield College, and his Ed.D. from Johnson & Wales University, where his dissertation and current research interests include college finance, specifically outsourcing. Dr. DeCapua is a former member of the NASPA National Board of Directors and a current member of the NAPSA Foundation Board.
 
Beth Devonshire, J.D.

Beth Devonshire, J.D. is an experienced student affairs professional with expertise in student conduct, Title IX, threat assessment teams, policy development, trainings for various constituencies, and the impact legislative and legal decisions have on higher education.  From 2006-2018, Ms. Devonshire worked as the Associate Dean of Students at UMass Boston, the Director of Community Standards at Bridgewater State University, and the Director of Community Standards at Stonehill College. In these roles, Ms. Devonshire was charged with oversight of the student conduct systems, membership in CARE/BIT teams, serving as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator, and drafting policies and procedures related to students. Prior to her work in higher education, Beth served as a law clerk for the Justices of the Superior Court in Massachusetts and in multiple roles at the Massachusetts State House.
