Compliance Investigator
<a name="_Hlk38268233">The Personnel Commission of the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) is currently recruiting for a <strong>Compliance Investigator</strong> applies a thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidelines in the investigation, analysis, and resolution of grievances, appeals, and complaints related to one or more of the following areas: civil rights, gender equity, sexual harassment, equal employment opportunity, and accessibility for individuals with disabilities enforcement and related policies, procedures, and practices of the District.</a><br /> &nbsp;<br /> <strong>SALARY INFORMATION</strong><br /> &nbsp;<br /> MONTHLY SALARY: $7,028.38 - $8,706.94 ($84,340 to $104,483 annually)<br /> <em>*Salary Information is based on a full-time, 12-month position.</em><br /> &nbsp;<br /> <strong>VACANCY INFORMATION</strong><br /> &nbsp;<br /> A current vacancy exists at the Los Angeles Community College District Office, 770 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90017.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> <strong>BENEFITS</strong> <ul> <li>District-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance plans for employee and dependents.</li> <li>$50,000 District-paid life insurance policy.</li> <li>12 full-pay days and 88 half-pay days of illness leave.</li> <li>A minimum of 15 paid holidays per year.</li> <li>Up to 24 days of vacation annually depending on years of service</li> <li>Public Employees Retirement System.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li> <li>Employee Assistance Program</li> </ul> <strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCEPTANCE OF AN APPLICATION:</strong><br /> <u>Education and Experience:</u><br /> &nbsp; <ol style="list-style-type:upper-alpha;"> <li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree from a recognized college or university, preferably with a major in public administration, human resource management, law, business administration, educational administration, or a related field AND three years of recent, full-time, paid, professional-level experience in investigating and processing complaints, appeals, and grievances related to equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, Title IX or other civil rights compliance, or related areas. Qualifying experience with an educational institution is desirable.</li> <li align="center" value="382">&nbsp;</li> <li value="2">A master&rsquo;s degree from a recognized college or university with a major in public administration, human resource management, law, business administration, educational administration, or related field AND one year of recent, full-time, paid, professional-level experience in investigating and processing complaints, appeals, and grievances related to equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, Title IX or other civil rights compliance, or related areas.
