The Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life (OSFL) provides advising, support and programming for Indiana University’s sorority and fraternity community’s four councils, 65 organizations and 8,000 members.

Job Summary
Department Specific Responsibilities
  • Serves as the liaison with the Office of Student Conduct and Headquarters/National partners regarding student organization misconduct reports and investigations.
  • Manages and oversees compliance initiatives, including but not limited to tracking and managing student organization misconduct sanctions and collecting data to ensure compliance with Office of Sorority & Fraternity Life ("OSFL") Policies.
  • Manages and serves as the liaison with event notification processes and policies with campus partners and the Greek Councils.
  • Serves as the liaison with the Bias Incident Committee.
  • Oversees the student organization and OSFL recognition process in collaboration with the Student Involvement and Leadership Center.
  • Recruits, trains and co-advises the Sorority and Fraternity Life Judicial Board.
  • Provides training and support to council and chapter standards boards, providing support for student governance and accountability.
  • Assists with collecting and sharing data associated with the dashboard, as well as compiling and sharing grade reports with chapter leadership.

  • Bachelor's degree in public affairs, public health, counseling, social work, education, business, or related field
  • Master's degree in higher education student affairs or related field
  • 2 years in student services, higher education, or related field
