Assistant Dean for Responding Party Services
UNC Greensboro's Dean of Students Office is seeking an Assistant Dean for Title IX Respondent Services. This position acts as a case manager for students impacted by Title IX situations, as well as pregnant and parenting students, serves as an ombudsperson in hearing student concerns, and leads office outreach efforts to educate university community on DOS office and services. Also this position is responsible for the DOS front desk, with direct supervision of one full-time staff member as well as one graduate student and indirect supervision of several student staff members.

Requirements |
Minimum Qualifications |
• Master’s degree required from an accredited four-year college or university. Master’s degree in higher education administration, college student personnel, counseling, or a related field of study
• Minimum of 3 years of full-time experience, post Master’s degree, contributing to student well-being and success within a higher education setting
• Experience working with a diverse population of students, including those with mental & physical health concerns.
• Working knowledge of higher education law and policies, particularly related to Title IX and FERPA
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills
• Proven track record of developing collaborative partnerships with academic and student affairs units

Preferred Qualifications |
• Prior experience in a Dean of Students Office
• Direct experience responding to crisis situations
• Direct experience working with instances of sexual violence
