Investigator Student Conduct
Summary
The Student Conduct Investigator is responsible for the investigation of conduct matters. They will prepare reports regarding conduct investigations and present these reports to the Hearing Board. They will work collaboratively with other key constituents. The Student Conduct Investigator will play a key role in training of student, faculty, and staff on issues relating to Title IX. The Student Conduct Investigator will help in evaluating and improving the student conduct process.

Summary

The Student Conduct Investigator will help in evaluating and improving the student conduct process.
 
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of legal issues in higher education
  • Knowledge of the federal legislation impacting student conduct
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills
Required Education and/or Experience
  • Master's degree in higher education, counseling, or related field (or law degree)
  • Two years' experience in student conduct or related field, to include investigation and interviewing experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate or Master's degree
  • Experience working with college students
  • Professional experience conducting investigations in a University setting
  • Experience working with Title IX, FERPA, & Clery Compliance
  • Previous discrimination and harassment investigation experience highly preferred
Compensation Information
This position is a exempt, salaried position assigned to pay grade 26.
